Piranha 3D

“Piranha 3-D” was a lot like another version of Jaws, except in this film instead of one big fish it’s a couple hundred thousand little ones. Oh, and the acting and storyline are worse. I didn’t expect much from this film. What I did expect was a bad horror movie that produces laughter from the audience, not fear. That is exactly what I got. The acting will not win anyone a notable awards, so do not go into this film expecting anything more.
The 3-D aspects of the film were good, but with every film going 3-D now, the bar has definitely been raised for what is considered great. The movie does have a lot of nudity and gore so I wouldn’t recommend it for young kids to go see. If you’re into cheesy horror movies with simple plots and people losing body parts left and right, this may be your movie.
