X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2

This next film in the Wolverine cycle is set to hit theaters sometime in 2011. There haven’t been many spoilers pertaining to the plot of this marvel comic film. What has been rumored is that Wolverine will travel to Japan to train with a Samurai warrior. Hugh Jackman told MTV news that at least some of the film will be shot in Japan, but most likely not all of it.

Sherlock Holmes Sequel

Sherlock Holmes and his partner in Crime Dr. Watson team up to stop their most dangerous adversary, Professor Moriarty. The release date for this film is set for December 16th of 2011, but is subject to change. Although Professor Moriarty’s face is never seen in the first Sherlock Holmes, it has been rumored that Daniel Day Lewis will play the part in the sequel. Robert Downey Jr. has signed up for the role of Sherlock Holmes and Rachel McAdams and Jude Law rumored to be seen again as well.

Morning Glory

This comedy is about a big time television producer who is given the task of saving a struggling morning show program whose high-profile anchors are in conflict. A studded cast appears in Morning Glory including Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Jeff Goldblum and Diane Keaton. The production of this film has been finished and is set to hit the movies screens on November 12th of this year.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT)

Who are these people hiding in the shadows you ask, well everyone knows the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). There is news that the Turtles will go back to their roots with a live action movie (that means no CGI turtles) which we like. It is rumored the minds behind Iron Man are writing the story which sounds to me like a great idea. Here is to hoping that this movie lives up to all the expectations that are going to come with this news.

Indiana Jones 5

News about Indiana Jones 5 has been waited for by some fans and hated by alot of fans. With such a negative reaction to the last film in the series many didnt think there would be another. But to prove everyone wrong Spielberg and Lucas have other ideas they want to explore, and they want to bring back Mutt who was played by Shia LaBeouf (who happens to be one of my favorite actors right now). It has been rumored that Shia has already talked to Spielberg and has seen some the script that they are writing and he likes it. This movie has the potential to be something everyone will like and get back to the way people see Indiana Jones but time will tell.

The Expendables 2

With all the hype that has been surrounding the Expendables, its only a matter of time before the news of a sequel would be talked about. There is news that Bruce Willis could be a potential villian in the 2nd film with a little more face time for arnold and maybe even an appearance from another big action star who was contacted for the first film but turn it down Jean Claud Van Damme. If they do a second film please let it have a little better plot and not just pointless action and bad dialogue.

Piranha 3D

To start off this movie looked like it was just going to be a crap fest (this coming from someone who loves horror movies) but all the critics have been giving this movie alot of love. This movie wasn’t getting much love before the release but since it has been released lots of people have been talking about it. Some have said its a movie that is so bad that its good and others have said its just your typical scary movie with some hot women in it. I remember when the first piranha came out and I liked it because it was different and I had not seen a movie about piranha before and it made learn more about them. The sequels that followed were all horrible but this movie has a chance to prove it all wrong. If you haven’t seen the original and you like scary movies I recommend seeing it. Here is to hoping this movie is entertaining. Let us know what you think.
