Gary’s Favorites
- Forest Gump – Iconic Tom Hanks movie with one of his greatest performances. Hits on huge aspects of history.
- Tombstone - My favorite role of Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday. Keeps you entertained throughout whole movie.
- Avatar – James Cameron makes another masterpiece.
- Silence of the Lambs – Anthony Hopkins is terrifying even with only being in movie a little over 24 minutes total.
- Lord of the Rings : Return of a King – Best Lord of Rings Movie with superb acting and great finish to story and very entertaining.
- The Passion of the Christ – Loved Mel Gibson interpretation of Jesus last 24 hours. Very graphic but hits the point.
- Jaws – A movie that still continues to scare people and keep them out of ocean.
- The Dark Knight – Heath Ledger (RIP) made this movie one of my favorites with his take on the Joker.
- Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back – Best Star Wars in my eyes with a lot of action and great continuation of the Star Wars story.
- Night of the Living Dead (1968) – Brought Horror movies to a new level with a simple looking movie.
- Braveheart – My Favorite Mel Gibson role with tons of action and a lot of Story that keeps you wanting more.
- Powder – Not a well known movie but loved the acting and the heart given by Sean Patrick Flanery.
- 300 – Catapulted Gerald Butler to fore front with this action packed movie.
- Pirates of the Carribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl – A fun movie with action and pirates; who wouldn’t like it?
- The Goonies – Movie that got me started watching all movies “Goonies Never Say Die”.
- Transformers – Action packed movie with giant robot machines, based off a cartoon I use to watch.
- Happy Gilmore – Adam Sandler at his finest. Very funny with tons of quotes people still use today.
- Frankenstein (1931) – One of the very first Horror movies of all time with the best Frankenstein by Boris Karloff
- The Prince of Egypt – On of my Favorite Animated Movies bout the story of Moses. First animated film released by Dreamworks.
- The Prestige – A surprising movie with a fun storyline that deals with magic that keeps you guessing until the very end.
- Saving Private Ryan – A very touching and violent war movie.
- Armageddon – Trying to save the earth with a huge cast of well known actors.
- Seabiscuit – A very touching story of over coming the odds and hardships in life.
- Scary Movie – Arguably the best spoof movie of all time, love the Wayne brothers comedy.
- Donnie Darko – A dark movie that makes you think and wonder with good acting by a young Jake Gyllenhaal.
Top 10 Worst
- Gigli -Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez need I say more.
- Battlefield Earth – One movie John Travolta probably regrets doing.
- Troll 2 – Not even a troll in the movie, so bad it considered the best worst movie.
- SuperBabies: Baby Geniuses 2 – How did this get green-lighted? Baby Geniuses could also be on this list.
- Glitter – Could have killed Mariah Carey’s career.
- Disaster Movie – Could just say most of the spoof movies with exception of scary movie 1,2, and Not Another Teen Movie.
- Son of the Mask – Jamie Kennedy you are better then this.
- Catwoman – Halle Berry, are you serious?
- The Hottie and the Nottie – Paris hilton is a main character c’mon, Almost won every razzy award. (Razzy awards are given for worst of year in all categories.)
- I Know Who killed Me – Could have helped contributed to Lindsay Lohan’s downfall.
